2018 Running Events
For 2018 were are delighted to bring you not one, not two but THREE magnificent running events.
Starting in February with Runduro ! What is that? We think it is a cracking, refreshing and very social way to open our 2018 events calendar.
The Fort William Runduro is a multi-stage running event. No Fuss launched Runduro in 2015, it is a cheeky 21km trail race with a twist, the route consists of 8 special stages linked by 7 transitional stages, with final results based solely on the total time taken for the special stages.
NEW for 2018 is the Runduro Short course option, missing stages 3 and 4 the short course and is just short of 14km. You can also take on the taster which is Stages 1 6,7 and 8 a total distance of just under 12km.
Next up in July is the Cowal Way Ultra with three races to choose from there is something for everyone. For those looking for a 9 mile trail run , why not find a partner and have a go at the relay event?
Looking for something a wee bit longer? Then take on the full 18 mile trail run taking in some of the most stunning views along the Cowal Way.
Always fancied having a crack at an Ultra? Then this one will not disappoint, at just over the thirty miles and a course that will certainly challenge we think it is going to be a cracker. Starting and finishing in Lochgoilhead for 2018, entries are now open and we look forward to welcoming you to the second edition of the Cowal Way Ultra.
The event is a tough 64KM journey of discovery, about enjoying and experiencing our wonderful environment and about finding out about yourself. It is an opportunity to travel through some of the most rugged and isolated areas that the Scottish Highlands has to offer. The course is undulating and varied with river and stream crossings, sustained climbs, long descents and soul searching splendid isolation.
